A small project:
A winter garland to decorate our shelf.
A large project:Sewing squares for a summer quilt for our bedroom. I've never made a bed-sized quilt before. It takes more perseverance to do the same squares repeatedly. I used blues, greens and purples from my stash for the center strips. I wasn't sure until I laid the squares out on the floor whether I was going to do them in straight rows or at an angle. I decided I like the angle better. Now I'm sewing them into long strips to put all the squares together.
Good thing there is at least another month before the garden will be calling outside. I hope to get the quilt to the point where I can work on quilting it at night.

The quilt is very very nice! I like the colors and they look good on an angle. I've only done one quilt that was all squares and it can be a little boring to do.
Are you going to hand quilt it?? I've never quilted on a machine.
I'm going to hand quilt. I've quilted on a machine recently and I've tied quilts. I've also hand quilted but more of a running stitch than a quilting stitch. I'm going to try to do better quilting on this one.
That quilt is going to be amazing!
